I suffer from Osteoarthritis in Neck, Shoulders and Knees. Most recent visit to GP mid-Dec, I had more Cortisone Injections and Left Knee drained of fluid build-up. I was told by GP I needed Physio rather quickly. Unfortunately, the waiting list pre-COVID was 8 / 9 months. Work has arranged for me to be seen by a qualified Sports Massage Therapist. Would evidence from this person carry any weight with a PIP Application?
Yes, you should include a letter from a qualified Sports Massage Therapist. It would help if you could tell them what you want them to include. I always try to tell specialists what needs to be included, because sometimes specialists at any level can say things that hinder an application rather than help.
If anyone gives you a letter that is damaging - never include it in your evidence.
