Have DLA to PIP transfers been suspended due to Covid?

Hi Malka
DLA to PIP transfers were suspended last year and I can't find anything that says they have started up again. However, there were some people who were in the middle of the transfer so those appear to have been completed.

Hi, Thank you for replying so quickly! I have read on the forum that people are still being transferred from dla to pip so thought it was still happening. Do you know when the transfer of the remaining dla people on indefinite awards may start again? I wish that people could be left on dla if they wish it!

Hi Mala
I don't. They will never leave people on DLA - simply because it is now a defunct benefit.

I thought people over a certain age would be left on DLA? Do you know if they have started transferring the remaining people on indefinite awards yet? Thanks

Hi Malka
There is no news about when they are going to start up the transfers again for any claimants regardless of whether they are on an indefinite award or not. Those currently being done were the ones that were already in progress and anyone one DLA who has reported a change in circumstances.
You can continue to claim DLA if you were born before 8th April 1948
