PIP Multiple Heart attcks was created by lallispan
Dear members.
I had in my life 4 heart attacks that made my life difficult and changed forever.
I cannot do things as before.
I granted in 2013 the highest mobility rate from PIP.
Every time the DWP asks for a face-to-face assessment and it happened to have a new heart attack and providing them with full doctor details they place me on the standard rate always.

This year I had a phone assessment and it happened again the same.
From what I've said on the phone they didn't take anything for granted.
So I asked for a mandatory reconsideration and I haven't written my letter to them yet.

My circumstances got worst and I had another operation in October 2020.
But they didn't take my situation seriously
Can you please guide me?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Pete

Have you asked for a copy of your telephone assessment report? If you haven't done so - then you should ring the DWP so you can understand how they came to their decision. What you should also do is look back at what you've written. Having a heart attack is a dreadful event and you say having four has changed your life forever. What you need to do is check that you have made it clear how it has changed in your ability to fulfill the specific PIP criteria on each question. You say they're not taking it seriously and that may be the case - but go through each question when you get the report and see if there's more you need to say.
