Hello Ashep and welcome to forums.

Well done for having the recording in the first place! And yes, you can submit it to the Tribunal, but I would advise you to inform the Tribunal Service in advance that this will be part of your evidence.

Hi Ashep,

Catherine is correct, you should inform the Tribunal in advance. However, I think it would also be appropriate to either get a transcript done, or copies of the CD, to serve as additional evidence. I think you run the risk of the Tribunal asking for an adjournment in order to disclose the cd and/or transcript. I suspect that there may be some accurate parts on the CD and some less accurate parts. You may wish to play certain parts in the hearing, but if you have already disclosed the cd or transcript, maybe pick out the very worse parts where the largest/most meaningful discrepancies occur and use them. So for instance you could say at "14 minutes 10 seconds I clearly said X but the assessor has recorded this as Y..."
Have you thought about making a complaint about the assessor? This is also something you may wish to consider.
I hope this helps, good luck with the appeal!
