Paying back PIP if not awarded / covid extension

So Ive received PIP for years. I just posted off my ' has your condition changed' from yesterday (after several extensions) my PIP is supposed to stop at the end of Feb... but... due to covid someone told me today on the phone it's been extended to October. (I asked re: returning my car)
My question is : if it takes months for them to decide and they decide I dont get anything - do I have to pay back all the PIP since I wasnt entitled?

N.B. I had no idea how to fill in the new forms - and couldnt find any help on this website.
TIA

Hi Benefitshelp

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is.

Welcome to Benefits and Work .

You will not have any overpayment as DWP extended your award until a new decision has been made, your award will only stop once a decision has been made that you are not entitled to the benefit.

We have a very substantial guide on the PIP process and it will walk you through every step. The review form is slightly different from original PIP claims form but the questions are the same, the guide below does go through the review form see page 102.
