Hi I had my award extended until dec 21 but 3 weeks later received the dreaded review forms does anyone know how long it will take to hear back from them and will I have to attend a face to face medical feel I’ll I’ve just been burgled as well so very very upset much obliged for any help. A lot of claimants are finding they receive a review form shortly after an extension. This is because the DWP has a backlog - so they are giving extensions so try and ensure claimants are not left without any money, but it still stands that review forms are being sent out 10 - 11 months before the award end date. That's why you received the form.
All face to face assessments are suspended at the moment and there has been no word when they might start again. I suspect it will not be for some time.
It's almost impossible to be accurate about when you can expect to hear back from them because we've had some members hear back in a couple of weeks, some a couple of months and some much longer. Best guess is approx eight weeks, but it is only a guess.
