I posted a little while ago about having a telephone assessment for ESA. I received the letter yesterday, I’ve been put into the support group. The letter doesn’t tell me how long this is for and when I will be reviewed. Also it doesn’t mention fit notes. Do I still need these?
Should I still ask for a copy of the assessment report?
The award you have been given is an indefinite award, hence no end date, but it will be reassessed periodically. You no longer need to provide fit notes.
Personally I would get a copy of the assessment report, it can do harm, and it could be worth knowing what it says if you have an issue in the future with a reassessment.
