Just Arrived

Dreaded brown envelope has just dropped through the door....opened it and it's an ongoing award until 4th July 2028. It also says that they have changed how often we review awards for claimants who have reached state pension age.

I was awarded PIP before I reached state pension age and I thought that I would have to have another review....but seemingly not. All the letter says is we have changed how long your PIP is awarded for . This means your PIP award is now for an ongoing period and has no end date. We will review how much help you need ten years after your PIP was last awarded . We will write to you about this on or around 4 July 2028.
