Pip treatment, therapies, monitoring condition was created by Elizabeth Mountain
Do I put OT recommended therapeutic activities in this, for autism and adhd, such as use of n/c headphones to stop meltdown from auditory hypersensitivity, use of weighted blanket, use of stim aids etc.?
It's been long time since I saw physiotherapist but there are daily exercises, adaptations I need/ought to use, do i mention these here also despite inability to provide any medical evidence to support this?
Monitoring condition, i struggle to be able to do this and have no support, as a result in not always using aids such as crutches too get out more or using things too stop meltdowns before they happen, should i put this down also.
Am not sure if I'm misunderstanding question and what I've mentioned above is not the sort of thing they need to know. Also if it is to be put down, it would be a lot of the time- at anytime, throughout the day, would this be sufficient to say?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Elizabeth,
Managing therapy refers to help required to undertake therapy prescribed by GP or other health care professional. Unless you need the help you will not achieve points. Similarly monitoring health must be something that eg GP has recommended, and is something you can not do alone. This could include checking insulin levels, blood pressure, watching out for choking or allergic reaction etc etc.. Even if required several times per day, then this would only provide 1 point under the PIP rules.
Again please read the Members Guides, and perhaps take advice from a benefits advisor who will be able to explain how your disabilities will fall within the tests for PIP.
I hope this helps.Good luck with your claim.
