Good morning, please can somebody help , I had at letter in say my pip. Was to be extended for a further 12 months . Then 2 days later , I’ve had a renewal form come in ,,, don’t no what to do !!!
This is a common occurrence for PIP claimants. Extension letters are being sent out because the DWP has a backlog and they are trying to stop claimants being left without money. So although they are giving extensions - review forms are still being sent out - it means they have longer to process them. You need to fill it in and return it on the date shown. If you need an extension on the time you have been given, you can ring up and ask for one.
