Dear Sue, my opinion is please fight on. Our daughter dissolved into sobs three times you can hear on our tape from her second face to face [just won on paper third go last year], yet the assessor cut'n'pasted over and over that she 'coped well with the assessment.' And yet had the gall to use her ability to hold the small box of tissues he passed her as 'evidence' she could safely hold a hot saucepan! BUT WE WON albeit at Tribunal, enhanced on both.
You actually can write in immediately if you have recently got the assessment report and not yet had the decision. Challenge all the lies coldly with reference to the document they have ignored or misinterpreted for each one. Send it in tracked ASAP and you may get the decision maker to see how the report is wrong. I did this successfully last time, and did not even have to do an MR thank goodness. Enhanced on both again. Best wishes, Denby

Thank you for your advice Gary I am going back over everything I think it is how she has interpreted what I said incorrectly. So because I recorded most of the call 1 hour 15 minutes then phone stopped recording I have got quite a bit of evidence?! The only thing is I mentioned that I had written everything down in relation to a question she asked and she has presumed that I said I was making notes throughout the assessment but that was the person in the room with me making notes not me? But how can I prove otherwise?! This is what has lost me points as she said I had dexterity all the way through the assessment with my note taking?

Hi Sue,
Since you believe you have come to the key in her misinterpretation I would actually face this one head on. Explain that the notes were made by your friend, not yourself. Explain why you needed your friend to do it for you, and if you still have them I would even send in a scan of the notes showing that they are in a different hand writing. If your friend is willing, you can ask her to write a statement in which says what she was doing and why.
Hope that helps a little
