Renewal confusion was created by carole
I resolved one issue yesterday. But have another please
I had extension letter saying my PIP was extended to Dec 2021, my original award was due to end March 2021
I had renewal that had to be back by middle of Feb 2021, will my PIP continue or will it end in Feb or March

Hello carole,
Having just checked back on your last thread, I see that you sent in your renewal pack and they have confirmed receipt of it, which is all good.
I see no reason why your PIP should end before Dec 2021 unless they get round to processing the renewal before then, in which case the decision relating to that will replace your current award.
I would certainly not expect it to end in Feb or March.
Having said all of that, I know from working with people who suffer from anxiety how it can eat away at them. The best thing for your peace of mind might be to make another phone call to them and get the reassurance direct from them.

Im in same boat my review is going off by the end of the month, my award was extendened until 31 Dec 2021 , its not good, we havent been able to have therapies or face to face meetings for a year

The extensions to PiP awards - re. covid - are so that you can continue to be paid when there are delays to the reviews. If you are being reviewed now (me too) then you will still be paid throughout the process, until a new decision is made.
Of course if they took the whole year to decide, that could be another matter, but I would certainly not expect that !!!!
