Pip light touch review was created by NikiB
I've received a letter extending my pip award due to covid i guess, but I have heard people are still having to complete light touch forms. I am worried sick about this. Please, does anyone have any idea of what these forms ask? Any copies of them? I don't know how I can possibly get doctors and other health professionals to provide letters to evidence my claim. They are barely open and almost impossible to speak to. Please, any help gratefully received.thank you

Hi NikiB

I think you are confusing the term light touch forms which is not a term that is used with 'light touch reviews' which are not going to start until 2023. No one yet knows exactly what a light touch review will be.

People are currently being sent review forms. You can read about the questions that are asked on the review form in our Guide to PIP claims and reviews. All claimants are in a similar position regarding doctors and health professionals and people are relying on previous information if they don't have anything more up to date

Hi Both that’s what they called my review in November 2020. That it was a light touch review but it isn’t? It asks you all the same things from your last Pip assessment? Sorry to interfere x

Hi Sue

Thanks for the information. If that's what they said, that's what they're doing.
