Please can anyone advise me, I qualify for payment of Service Charges under Universal Credit Housing Costs, part of the service charges is for building insurance which DWP say is not covered, I can not see in there Guidance that this is so, I am a home owner with no mortgage, I live in an apartment in a listed building in a conservation area, the guidance states that home owners are entitled to housing costs covering home insurance yet will not pay for building insurance which is a bloc policy shared with other owners arranged by the property managers. I have contaced them but the will not budge. Is this policy correct, who else can help me. Thank you
