I have been asking UC and NICO to look into why automatic NIC credits towards my state pension haven't been paid but I'm getting nowhere.. No-one seems to know why automatic class 3 NI credits for 2019/20 havent been paid and the year is showing as not full/requiring a voluntary contribution. I cant be the only person this is happening to. Can anyone help?
I have done a quick search to try and help you, try calling the HMRC helpline, Telephone: 0300 200 3500
Have your National Insurance number with you, if you have one.
When you call, this helpline uses speech recognition software, so you will be asked why you are calling HMRC. Try to answer with short phrases and words, for example:
“question about National Insurance payments”
