Assessment finally done and dusted. It took almost an hour and 30 minutes. It wasn't as bad as I expected and the guides definitely made me feel more prepared.
I had a female nurse and the assessment was recorded, she was quite thorough but wasn't pushy and gave me time to answer. She told me the DWP assessor doesn't listen to the recording but it can be used as evidence in a tribunal. I'm just going to hope for the best now but prepare for the worst and get ready to do an MR. I was told 8 weeks or so for a decision now and my pip ends next week, so I'm going to have to ring Pip and see if they'll extend it further or fast track the decision. The advice and support from this website has helped me so much and I really appreciate it. A little tip.. Don't use a phone app to record. It worked on every call but theirs. Only my voice came through
