Pip extended further due to backlog.

I have just been on the phone to Pip, as my extension date was due to end next week. After explaining I had only had my assessment yesterday and the assessor informing me the decision could take eight weeks. The case manager has extended my award for a further eight weeks. So thankfully I will continue to receive payment whilst I'm waiting for the decision.

He did say the date has been updated on my claim, so hopefully there won't be a problem. I have just had the text to say the reports with them. So it may be dealt with before then anyway. I am going to ring tomorrow for a copy of the report.
