Hello and thank you first for all you advice you give.
Can you please help, I get the lower rate PIP on both. i have been working part time but recently had 3 months off sick and now on furlough. My drugs and change of medication has increased, I am still attending 5 different hospitals for a combination of health issues, but PIP reassessment is the end of next year, if I contact them to update them with all my new hospital letters and on going treatment do you think they might stop my PIP altogether or give me the higher rate? I am not sure any advice welcome. Thank you sam

If you report a Change then you should do so in writing as the date of your letter will be used to set the start date of any new award, Ideally, send it using a Track'd post so that you have proof of delivery.
Before you report a Change you should be certain that you would reasonably qualify for a higher award, not all deterioration or even new conditions will result in your scoring the points you need for a higher award. See our PIP Claims guide for the criteria that you will need to make.

If you reported a change then you will receive a PIP2 to complete this is the same form that you filled in when you originally applied for PIP.
Your PIP will not stop until a new decision has been made. Depending on the outcome of your new assessment, your PIP claim could either stop, stay the same or increase.
