HI all im looking for some advise I was awarded uc lcwra Apr 2019 backdated to oct 2018 had the letter informing me but no timescale about 1yr later I rang dwp to ask how long the award was for got a txt through my journal saying my award was for 24 mnths from oct 2018 that time has passed and have hered nothing but they are still paying my benefit anyone in a similar situation or has any imformation as to why I have not been contacted for reassment Thanks
The short answer to your question, there is a backlog in reassessing claimants.
ESA/UC (Support/LCWRA) is an indefinite award with scheduled reassessment so there will be no end date or award length on the Decision Letter, if you have the assessment report then the "prognosis" is used to set the date, failing that contact the DWP office dealing with your claim, the reassessment date will be recorded on your computer record.
You will continue to receive payment until a new decision has been made.
