Shielding Letter was created by Teenp21
Hi all, i have had the dreaded brown envelope through for a review.

Could someone tell me if my shielding letter is any good for a letter to send in with form.

Also, what is the best way to reply. Like a new claim or no change to questions.

Hello CP and welcome to the forum.

It looks as if your real name may be showing. If you would like to change that there are instructions here.

My full name is showing, how can I stop it.

Yes, I would certainly include a copy of your shielding letter, no evidence is bad evidence, although it is unlikely to directly evidence difficulties you have with Daily Living or Mobility. What it is however is evidence of your underlying and ongoing condition.

There is lots of guidance about how to complete the review form in our PIP claim guide

First link on this page PIP resources starting at page 104.

But basically, we recommend that you almost treat it as a new claim, but also record the fact that there has been no change.

I hope that helps,
Catherine
