hello. i might be missing something here, but if you are awarded pip say 3 years ago, and the hcp said in his/her synopsis that your condition is unlikely to improve, and you fill in a pip review form stating your condition hasn't improved, with a copy of the hcp's synopsis from back then. would this not help your chances.

Hi Magpiejoe08
Yes, you can include the previous synopsis, but make sure that you read the guide to PIP claims and reviews - so you understand the best way to complete the review form.

hello, thank you for your reply, i know the pip, & esa, are not related, but when i send in my pip hcp report stating that it is unlikely that my condition will improve, would it help if i also sent in a esa hcp's report stating the same thing. or should i keep things seperate. also is it likely i will have to have a medical. if so can i ask for a face to face. thanks again.

Hello magpiejoe08
It is impossible to say if something will help, but if it is further evidence from someone else that your condition is unlikely improve then I can see no reason not to include it. There is no reason to keep ESA and PIP documentation separate if you wish to cross reference them.
At the moment all face to face assessments have been suspended due to covid, and as far as I know there has been no announcement of when they are likely recommence. There is a very recent modification to legislation which opens the possibility for video assessments, so you could request one of these if you think it is the best way to present your case.

Hope this helps

hello i have had three face to face medicals 2 for esa, the first in 2012, the second in 2019, i had a pip medical in 2018, and have just received a pip review form 0n march 6th 2021, each hcp synopsis says review in 2 years but improvement unlikely, i am sending all three reports in, and everything i sent in the last time, although it says in my letter not to, my health has deteriorated but my medication has stayed the same, and i have received no further treatment since 2016 as the consultant stated that surgery would not improve my condition. i have sent all this in last time and will do so again when i send it next week. thank you.
