PIP assessment report was created by Kimbychick
Hi,

After review, I received my award last month going from standard rate DL and mobility to enhanced for both. This was done by paper based assessment.

I called after it to ask for a copy of the assessment report and was told yes it will be posted to me. I then waited over 2 weeks and still hadn't received it so called back and the next person I spoke to told me theres been no report posted as one was never done. She told me that as if was done as a paper based assessment that there isnt any assessment report for it.

I just wonder why I was told by the first call handler that she would post it. I'm hoping someone here can clarify for me if this is normally the case when the review is paper based?

Many thanks

Hi Kim

What you were told the second time you phoned was not true. A paper based assessment is called a PA3. – Review report form (paper-based review)

Hi Kim, oh dear DWP telling lies again. I got our daughter's paper based assessment report. If I had not done I would not have been able to write in as I did, to take apart all the lies and twisting and inventions that were in it. The result was she got Enhanced on both, this was the first time i had done this, and it was also the first time the Enhanced x2 was achieved without MR and Tribunal. If you call again and get fobbed off, my advice is just say thank you, hang up and try again. As you have got your enhanced there's not going to be a need to rush to do an MR. But if anything is seriously wrong you might want to write in, being explicit this is NOT an MR request, but saying what points were wrong for the record.
Best, Denby

Thank you Gary and Denby.

I will give them a call. I just want to keep a copy of this for reference for when my next review form comes in 2 years or so. I would also like to see how they made the decision.

I will let you know the outcome.
