ESA Support Group Abroad was created by SAMMY JO 2
Hi All
I have recently moved to France. Prior to leaving UK I was told by DWP that my ESA Support Group Benefit would continue whilst abroad, exportable.
The Benefit has now been stopped for no apparant reason. I contacted DWP who confirmed it would no longer be payable and that they would at some point send me a letter about it. Has anyone any similar experiences please.

Hey there,
I suspect you need professional advice on this, to be honest.
I know that you can keep ESA for up to 4 weeks when you travel abroad (I've recently become somewhat expert on this lately). A few circumstances allow for you to keep it for longer (bereavement, medical treatment, working for the government, etc.)
Moving is a different matter, and I suspect that Brexit has changed matters somewhat (but I'm just guessing). There;s an online questionnaire that will advise you: www.gov.uk/uk-benefits-abroad
I really advise you to get expert advice, as I said!
Good luck.
