Hi binky,
I assume that you have asked for a review if your PIP and are now awaiting the result. Often the decision is quite soon, so I suspect it will arrive any day. You have said that you have sent in medical evidence, so there is a very good chance that your review will succeed. Try not to worry about this, there isn't much you can do at present, and the worry may be unnecessary. However, if you had an assessment it is often a good idea to phone up and ask for a copy of this. It's called form PA4.
I hope all goes well. Fingers crossed!

Binky, I hope it goes well for you, hopefully you've sent in enough extra evidence, I also see your predicament as your on an on-going award also, the DWP played it crafty with only giving you standard on daily/mobility.

I am to, enhanced both on-going.

Wishing you well.

I was formely known as (GoingOffMyHeadWithThisGovernment) Won PIP November 2017 ongoing award HR both. Now kept and got my ESA Support group but took a while.

Thank you not had assessment yet ,had home assessment in 2017 and for esa support ,it's so hard when your Dr has sent lots of letters about how things have got worse and it's a life long condition ,just don't want them to stop my money altogether it's always a battle ,just thought if they see all the evidence sent in it may be quicker ,Thank you so much your right with the crafty standard rate ,too

Thank you ,not had an assessment yet they received my forms and letters 10 days ago ,had home visit in 2017 for pip and esa in support group,my daughter can ring them but don't want to annoy them ,why is it all a battle ,is it a good sign not hearing my friend heard back in 3 weeks but no change in an award that was a review ,just hoping has an on going award it will count for me and not against me .

Hello binky,

I have long since stopped trying to ‘read the signs’ when it comes to things like how long it takes the DWP to respond. Each time I think I have it sussed then promptly prove me wrong. And that was before covid!

There is no reason not to ring the DWP for information. Assuming you are polite you will not annoy them, and my experience is that when you ring them they are very willing to tell you as much as they know.

I hope that helps a little,
Catherine
