Hi Silverfox 7

It's unusual for them to say they might have to ring back later. You should have been given an explanation why that may have been necessary. I don't think they will ring now. You should be able to ring and ask for a copy of the report 48 hours after the assessment. It's a PA4. Don't let them try and tell you that you can't have it, or have to wait until the decision is made, because that isn't true. If they say it's not there the first time, keep ringing. It certainly should not take a 'few weeks' to complete the report.

Thankyou BIS,
the interviewer went really quite the said i may have to talk to my supervisor and call you back, she started muttering saying i have made my decision now and thats ok. then to go on later and say thank you if i have to call you back very strange, i have it recorded.

Hi Silverfox 7, as Bis excellently says, do not be fobbed off about getting the PA4. I find if I get a sticky person, best not to even try arguing, pretend you believe them, just say 'oh thank you,' hang up, and try again shortly.
Now, once you get the report, highlighter pens may be very useful. You can mark all bits you don't like, pick which if corrected would raise your good wife's points score in a second colour. Then write a cold letter taking apart whatever omissions, twistings or outright, er, 'factual inaccuracies' you may have seen, referring for each to the doc/evidence you sent. You can add eg relevant pages from NHS website suppose you find something like 'only moderate pain relief' if your wife, like our daughter, is on Max tramadol or similar. Send in ASAP and it may cause the Decision maker to ignore the errors and award accordingly; it did for our daughter. best wishes, Denby
