Filling Out Pip Form was created by jay01
HI every one, these years do come round quick!
Right having just received the Pip form I wondered if it could be filled out via computer then printed off and stuck to the appropriate page? I struggle with a pen now days.
Many thanks

Hello jay,

I read in one of Gary’s posts that the DWP are trialling online PIP forms, so perhaps this will be the last time you are faced with a paper version.

A member addressed your very question recently

Elizabeth wrote: I was amazed that PIP couldn't be completed online. There is no way my handwriting would be legible due to the fatigue, sickness and mental fog that filling it in by hand would create. So my partner and I typed my answers to each section on a Word document on my laptop. After saving we printed out each answer and then physically cut the paragraphs out and stuck them onto the form using Pritt stick. It took forever but it was neat, clear to read and - before printing- I could check that the answers were exactly as I wanted them to be. We then scanned each page so that I had an exact copy. It all took forever and I had to stop for days at a time because emotionally the questions hit many a raw nerve, plus I was exhausted. In my answers I dutifully kept to the advice on here and am soooo relieved to say I was granted PIP!!! With no phone call even. (But I did have a ton of medic reports too.) This way of doing it may be helpful to others of you. I hope so.

Another way of doing it is to type up all the answers in a document with a clear heading to each answer and then include the document with the form.

I then put a note in the box on the right hand side of the form saying see separate sheet, and make sure I have ticked all the relevant tick boxes.

You just need to make sure that each additional piece of paper has your name and NI number on it and you put something in the box on the form saying that the answer is on a separate sheet. (Comes to the same thing, but saves having to get the scissors and glue out.) It is also good to put page numbers on the sheets e.g. page 2 of 4.

I wish you success in getting the correct award,
Catherine
