Pip phone questions

My son had a phone interview for pip yesterday, he had it on speaker phone, by the time it had finished one hour and 22 minutes later, he was a wreck. I realised part way into the call that she was asking the same questions about dates and stuff in different ways, my son got confused after a while, they where going back 10 plus years. He came off the call and promptly went into a down ward spiral convinced she had made him out to lie.
Nearly 24 hours on he still hasn’t slept. The thing is he was granted the benefit till I think November this year. Not looking for answers or anything I suppose I just wanted to get it off my chest

I'm so sorry to hear about what your son had to endure. I can fully understand why, 24 hours later, he hasn't slept: I'm sure everything said (or not said) is still buzzing around his head. It's nothing less than trauma.

I do hope that getting the assessor's report will at least give you and your son a greater sense of control, as you'll be able to take positive action against anything wrongly recorded. Wishing you the very best of luck
