Hi my dreaded phone assessment this morning, hardly slept last night worrying about it. I previously have had the enhanced rate of PIP for both daily care and mobility and I have provided lots of medical evidence to show that my health conditions have worsened. My Daughter who along with my other children and grandchildren provide a lot of my care was with me. The assessor was to be honest very pleasant and seemed understanding especially when I got emotional, she let my Daughter answer some questions and answered those my Daughter asked her. She said she doesn't make the decisions and it may be eight weeks or a bit longer until I hear from the DWP. I'm hoping and praying it will be OK and that I don't have to go through the appeals process but I have of course read some of the stories that have got me worried. Fingers crossed. Thankyou for all your support and advice here.
It's good to hear that you had a good experience in what is a stressful assessment. I hope you get the outcome you're seeking. You can ring after 48 hours and ask for a copy of the assessment report which is a PA4
