Acknowledgment from DWP about review form arriving

Hi,

I sent my PIP review form back last Wednesday and sent it recorded delivery. It was recieved and signed for by them on Thursday.

However, I have had no text or message to inform me they have recieved the form back, even though I know from tracking via royal mail that they have.

Am I right that a text message is usually sent to confirm that they have recieved the form back?

Hi Spaceinvader

During the pandemic, it has been problematic whether people have received text messages at all or if they do receive them at what stage they arrive. So you may or may not get one.

Hi Spaceinvader

When paperwork arrives at dwp, it can take up to 3 weeks to reach the relevant department. They would be the ones to send a text, so maybe give them a bit longer.

My text came a full 3 months after my review was ‘signed for’ ?!
It’s now a month after the text (& a phone call to them, just to confirm it was being dealt with, and still no correspondence. I was told it had been forwarded for a telephone assessment & I would hear in due course. )
