Currently in lcwra and health has been improving over last few weeks so going to report a change. Can anyone tell me the process of what happens next. Will my payment be reduced to the standard rate with immediate effect? Or will they wait to re assess me and if found capable of looking for work/fit to work, will payment change from date of the assessment/decision? Thanks
I can't tell you what the result of reporting your change of circumstances will be, because we don't know anything about your situation or what impact your improved health has on the various criteria. I would expect them to reassess you, and then the amount of money you are paid should change when you receive the decision. Money is usually cancelled immediately only when a claimant says they no long require the benefit.
It is great that you are feeling better - please be certain as far as you can tell that it is a permanent improvement before you inform them.
