Hi I have filled in my PIP2 form. I have sent the form 'to be signed for' - which DWP have signed. How long before I receive any communication from the DWP that the department has received the form? And does the form automatically pass onto the assessment centre or does the DM read the form and decides to either award or assessment. How long should this step in the process approximately take? B.
The form will be passed on to the assessment centre to see which road to go down, phone or paper assessment, then passed to the DM
The time to be notified from the DWP on receipt of your form varies especially since Covid, we have various times on the forum including no notification, so we cannot give you an answer.
It used to take 6 - 8 weeks but again it varies wildly since Covid
