hi
i received the letter about leap review in sept 2018 the same as everyone got, saying there was no change to their decision and it was correct, i had 4 points due to needing prompting to go out.. In febuary this year my review for my whole pip award was due. After completing the form and sending it off, i was given 10 points for the standard rate mobilty, saying that they had decided this time, that i cannot leave the house due to psycological distress. I am confused as to wether or not everyones award is getting looked at once again, or does it mean that only the ones that they have not got round to yet,in the first place, were getting looked at again

Hi Longbow
The DWP have said they are looking at 1.6 million claimants. Yours has already been looked at under this criteria and your claim has remained the same. B&W and other organisations believe the letters sent out to claimants may be unlawful as they are not clear how the decisions have been made and nor did they tell people they could challenge the decision. If they are successful in challenging the DWP on this - B&W will produce a letter for members to challenge the decision.
You can of course challenge yourself, but they will not assume because you have been awarded ten points now that you would have in the past and you would need to show paper evidence that you should have been awarded more at the time.
