I got my date for telephone assessment for 7th May then after reading your guides I rang them back and asked for it to be recorded, I've been told that not all assessors have the capability and I will get a new date. I've decided to write a diary to help with the questions so I don't leave anything out because I know I will start to babble on as I get very anxious when I have to talk about my health conditions and I'm also suffering from a recent bereavement so no doubt I will be in floods of tears if the assessor is being arrogant or rude.as my depression is through the roof. As anyone got any advice or tips on anything that may help with my assessment
I am not sure that I really have much to add to the preparation you have already done. If you can get any addition evidence, it is not too late to submit it, but above all don’t worry about not being fully on form on the day. I have handled a number MR’s which have been needed primarily because the claimant pampered themselves in anticipation of the assessment so that they were fully rested and alert and in some cases took additional medication to control the pain. This meant they did not present a ‘normal’ version of themselves and were judged accordingly.
