Community Alarm was created by Ultravox
I have Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Diagnosed Aspergers, and Lumber Spinal Stenosis which affects my legs and arms, and live on my own. Spoke to my GP this morning and he surprisingly recommended a Community Alarm (which would be payable by me on a monthly basis).
When my PIP comes up for review, is this something worth mentioning on my review form.
Kind regards, Rob.

Hi Rob100

It is always worth mentioning aids. The question I would ask myself is why did my doctor recommend a community alarm, was this because you have falls?

When talking about aids on the PIP form you need to say why they were recommended and what limitations you have in using them.

Some community alarms are pullcords which do not help unless you are close by a pullcord, others you wear on your wrist like a watch or hang around your neck.
