PIP people called asking for bank and address was created by MissVeeBee
Hello,
My son had his telephone assessment a couple of weeks ago. He has not received a letter but did receive a phone call asking for bank details and to confirm address. He lives in supported accommodation.
We aren't reading too much into it as know it can go either way but it this usual, is it possibly a positive sign

I don't want to sound alarmist, but I hope he verified that he was talking to the DWP before handing over any banking details.

Hi Miss VeeBee
That's good. I think you are right in assuming that if they asked for details they didn't previously hold then it should have a positive outcome.
