Moving from ESA to State Pension was created by Salford Silver Surfer

In receipt of PIP & ESA . The transition from ESA to State Pension seems to be going smoothly but slowly . The two Departments seem to communicate with each other . Am I correct in assuming that drawing State Pension in no way impacts on existing PIP Award and therefore it is not a reason to contact Pip ( neither an important change in health, or circumstances ) I am loathe to cause any ripples with this Department .Thanks for any input.

You are correct, 'Am I correct in assuming that drawing State Pension in no way impacts on existing PIP Award'

Your ESA will cease on the date you become eligible to claim your state pension.

Depending on your circumstances, you may also be entitled to claim pension Credit: www.gov.uk/pension-credit
