Universal Credit was created by Ade
I have been put on the Universal Credit Support Group so I dont have to look for work etc but It dont state how long I am on there for. And why did they put me on the Universal Credit support group and not on ESA?

Hello John,
Well done on being placed in the Support Group (known as LCWRA when it is under the UC umbrella). The award is indefinate, but they will review it periodically to check that you conditions have not changed.
My guess is that you started a new claim, and all new claims are by default UC. If you have a recent NI contribution history you might wish to check to see if you can also apply for New Style ESA.

I can only thank you and for all your help and advice. You all deserve a MBE for all the help you give to people who needs help and advice.
It was a new claim in November 2019 I have waited this long for the assessment!! I have not worked for a year and a half so I wouldnt think I would get New style ESA.
