Applied for Pip 21 wks ago and still no assessment

Hi all,

I know from this forum that PIP timescales are one of the world's last remaining mysteries but was wondering - is 21 weeks and still no assessment date standard for PIP nowadays? The waiting is almost as bad as the sight of the "dreaded envelope" landing on the mat.

I called and was told it's with the Health professional - so at least it isn't in a shredder I suppose.

I'll message any update if, and when, they come.

Just wanted to add, I'm a few weeks a head of you in terms of waiting to hear about my PIP review and from what I've been told, my file has been sat with the health assessors for FOUR months now.

I'm sorry you're having the same issues but on the plus side they might get round to working on them in time for Christmas
