Hi do you have a letter template to contact dwp re leap review. I'm struggling to put a letter together but I believe I am eligible. I was awarded it then it was taken away but my illness had worsened. Thanks in advance

Hi Angel65

I moved your post so that I could answer the question separately. It can become confusing when people ask questions in someone else's post, so we ask people not to do it.

We don't have a template at the moment asking about a Leap Review - because we are waiting to see if the challenge organisations are making against what has happened is won and then we will be producing suitable templates. So you can continue yourself and ask them to look at it or wait and we will report what has happened and have a template that you can use.

Contacted the DWP this morning who advised that a reconsideration has been registered for the LEAP team to look into my claim once again. Received the HCP report from Jan 2018 and for planning and following journeys justification part he has wrote...

"Goes out for short walks always accompanied by family member, avoids going out when extremely stressed and anxious"

To me that sounds more of 12 points descriptor than the 10 which I was awarded.. Would it be worth taking to tribunal if the reconsideration fails with only this piece of evidence

Hi Housebound

I can't tell you what to do here. This has to be a personal choice.
