gutted pa4 no points was created by Mark65
hi all scored no points. it seems they have referred back to an old pa 4 back in 2015 so my question is do I have to wait for the decision before I can do mr/appeal I'm up for the fight doesn't look like they have considered anything from the ar1 questionnaire and a pa 4 dated 27/1/2015 instead of a recent report I have scored 10 points for daily living previously. including in 2015 thanks for all you do on this site to me you are all heroes!!!!!

Hello Mark and thank you for your kind words,

It is good to hear that you are up for the fight! No, you do not have to wait for the decision, indeed it is best if you don't, in that by responding now you get an extra opportunity to put things from your perspective.

You need to write to them and saying how you believe the PA4 is wrong, but making it clear at the top of your letter that this is not a request for a Mandatory Consideration but additional information you would like the Decision Maker to take into consideration. I would include the more recent report and stating that your condition is still the same, or how it has changed since then. You can also include any additional evidence you have acquired since you submitted your AR1.

What you should avoid doing, if you can restrain yourself, is picking over details which will not make a difference to the number of points you are awarded. For example if they have regularly misspelt your name, however annoying it is, it will not make a different to your award.

We have members who have turned things round at this stage, so go for it! (and do come back if you have any additional questions).
