Hi there my friend is having her pip reviewed at the moment. But her award expires end of June 2021 next month. She has an assessment next Friday. If a decision isn't made on her entitlement before her pip expiry date will she continue to receive her payments? Or will her payments stop on the award expiry date. She has received no letter or contact retarding when her payments will stop. Jusy to add she She did not get her decision at tribunal, her award was previously extended due to covid.
I would expect your friend's award to expire at the end of June, although any new award should be backdated to then. Unfortunately I would not expect her to receive a letter saying that her payments will stop, since that is implied in the fact that her award expires on a certain date.
I have a gentleman who is in an identical position, if you can tell me I would be really interested to know when she submitted her forms for the new award.
