If I use the hob occasionally...stir fry, or scrambled eggs does that pass the cooking test? confused as sometimes easier to make srambled eggs and some bread that heat up a ready made meal?
Hi SAMSON, The rules about cooking require you to be able to prepare and cook a simple one course meal for one person using fresh ingredients. You need to show that you have some sort of disability that prevents you completing this activity for the majority of days. So, even though occasionally you do cooking, but illness, disability prevents doing everyday, then you can still achieve points. A stir fry might class as using fresh ingredients, perhaps scrambled eggs is too? If you haven't already done so, have a look at the members guides, which give lots of further information.
