Good morning, we are moving to a new county and will need to change our address for PIP and Esa, I'm hoping this will be straight forward, do you have any advice?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Peter W
I don't know how you are going to inform them. If you write - then do a follow-up telephone call to ensure they have the new details. If you telephone first and change your details - send a letter to back it up.
Keep a copy of any correspondence.
Hope your move goes well.

Hi Peter w
What type of ESA are you getting? if you are receiving IR ESA and HB then you will need to claim UC when you move.
You need to seek help from your local Welfare Right Organisation when you move to check your benefit entitlements. You can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies local to your area. advicelocal.uk
