PIP 1043 was created by Bud
Had that form in the post this morning, although I was supposed to have a 9 month extension until 2022. I’ve only just been to the tribunal as well, can’t help thinking that it’s because I was successful Although I’ve not had my letter from the tribunal or DWP yet, but the tribunal did say that they were giving me 12 points for DL no questions asked.

Hi Bud
Even with an extension to 2022 - they are still sending out some forms 12 months before the new end date.

Hi Bis,

If there's back logs with PIP assessments, why send out forms 12 mths in advance, its just not on lol.
Or does the DWP have only backlogs in certain UK post codes?
regards.

Hi mrfibrospondodysthmatic
The norm used to be DWP sent renewal forms out 12 months before their end date, this then got reduced to 6 months and then we had Covid.
At the moment everything is up in the air, some members get a renewal form if they win at Tribunal others don't, some get a renewal form 12 months before their claim runs out others 6 months. We are told there are back logs but this can vary across the region.
There is a lot going on in the background such as online claims and combined assessments for ESA/UC and PIP, as they say watch this space, when we have any news it will be in our news letter, so make sure you sign up to receive it.

BIS, I do believe that they like to torture us, some things are just too much of a coincidence.
All change for me again today as I had a call from DWP, they want to pay money into my account due to me getting enhanced DL. I mentioned the PIP 1043, they said that it wouldn't be necessary as the tribunal had added extra time onto the award. My official letter arrived today form the tribunal, so I'm just waiting for the backpay, & official letter from DWP. Thanks so much to each & every one of you at B&W, keep fighting people.
