Hi, please could you clarify the possible leap back payment. I suffer from Severe Generalised Anxiety, and also mobility issues due to musculoskeletal issues. I was on a indefinite award of DLA from 2009 with low rate on both components. I had a review in 2014 and was put on High rate care and still the lower rate of mobility. I was transferred over to PIP in 2018 and they awarded me High rate for both components due to a journey would cause me psychological distress. I am still currently on the High rate award for both components but I am unsure whether the leap back payment would be something that I would need to look into. Thank you for all your help.
The Leap Review - only refers to PIP (not DLA). Since you were awarded PIP you have been on enhanced mobility so it's not relevant to you. It only applies to people who were awarded nothing or standard.
