Re - DWP - text me

Hi to all, and mods.

I took the plunge and phoned up the DWP, as in regards to my previous post from earlier this morning. (ESA SG relating).

To cut a long story short, after holding on line for 45 minutes i got through to a lady.

I explained to her about the text msg DWP had sent me @ 10.50 am this morning.

She said it was nothing to worry about as it they were making some adjustment to systems, and that meant my payment would not had gone in to my bank account as normal.

And the text was to assurer me that a payment is going through, just in case i checked my account and it was not there on its usual date.

I then sort of grew a pair, and got the bottle to say to the DWP lady....i heard assessments are
back in full swing!

She said yes things are moving back to how they were pre-pandemic, but she never gave specifics wobeit- F2F's paper back re views or a phone job.

Then out of the blue she said to me don't worry about this, as your not due for another ESA SG review not until June 2023.

I was stunned !!! as i was going to ask her the question when will i be re-assessed for my ESA. Note this is something i would never normally ever do, as i don't like rocking the DWP's boat.

So today that lady made my day a lot more brighter than it has been for years lol.

If I'd not rang up, I'd still be biting my nails what's left off them that is, worrying about when my next ESA review would be due.
