PIP REVIEW was created by Lorraine
Good evening. I finally got through to the PIP contact centre today. The guy couldn’t have been more helpful, he even called me back when my call disconnected. Anyhow it appears they haven’t got a letter I sent in after my review form was sent, I sent it recorded but couldn’t find the Royal Mail ref number, I did write my NI number on every page along with my name but hey ho. It seems I’m to have an assesement no surprise there I guess as I’ve recently been diagnosed with FND. The call handler said they F2F assesements had been paused again but that it was my right to ask for a telephone assesement if I preferred, which I do. Have you heard anything about F2F. I’m in Scotland and not sure who does them up here. Such a stressful time .

Hi Lorraine, if your letter was sent within the last few weeks, it could well be they have got it but it has gone to a subcontract mail-opening-and-scanning-into-the-system company. Some of these apparently have huge backlogs.
