Missed mandatory cons deadline

Send off the MR now, even though it is late. Alternatively you can phone as this could be quicker.
You will have to show a good reason for being late; it may be that you have been very stressed lately, or fatigued. Maybe you simply forgot and got in a muddle because you have poor memory etc etc. I am sure that you can find a genuine reason. It us highly unlikely that DWP will refuse a late application, if you explain your reason. There is an overall time of 13 months so you are still within that limit!
Please do your MR as a matter of urgency. It need not be very detailed, but doing it now will preserve your right if appeal to the tribunal, and you can argue everything properly there. Of you are able, you can of course make detailed argument now, but best not to if this would delay things unduly. That says if you need a couple if days to write a full MR request that should be ok, but don't forget to explain your reason for being late!
