Pip tel assessment soon was created by Helen
Hi I’m really worried about my telephone assessment which is on Thursday the 8 th July 8.30 am
Any tips please I just don’t even know how to answer the phone to them
I have fibromyalgia I said I can’t get out of bed due to stiffness and they gave me such an early appointment it takes me ages to loosen up and get downstairs never mind all the other pain I’m in
I’m really panicking about it
Hope u can help

Hi Helen
I have moved your post, as we ask people not to ask their own question within another member's post in case it become confusing.
I don't know whether you're speaking to them on a landline or mobile, but you don't have to get out of bed if you can take a call in your bedroom.
Regarding your question about telephone assessments - if you have a look at our Guide to PIP claims and reviews it will provide you with the information you need starting at page 93 www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip

1, get it changed for a time good for you
2, must have someone with you, tell them someone is listening with you to assessment, 2 against 1, to back you up.
3, have it recorded, but all uo tp you.
bless.
