Hi, I applied for PIP back in Early March. They acknowledged they had received my application however, I have not heard anything since. Someone I know applied in April after me and has already had her telephone assessment.
What do you think? Why have I not been contacted.

Hello Souter,

In my experience your situation is more the usual than your friend's. However, I would suggest that you give the DWP a ring and see if the can give you an up date. I was recently told that at least in our area there is a 4 month delay between the file going to the assessors and the assessment actually happening.
